Man seriously injured after 3,5-metre fall

A man was seriously injured following a 3,5-meter fall at a warehouse at the Alayköy Industrial zone today at around 11.30 am. According to a police report, 64-year-old Adnan Özer who lost his balance and fell three and a half meters onto a concrete surface while carrying out welding work has been seriously injured. Özer is being kept in the intensive care unit following treatment at the Dr Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Lefkoşa, the police report says. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
