Weather Forecast, warning of stormy weather! (27th January 2023)

According to the Meteorology Department, today’s weather will be under the influence of a cool and humid air mass and a high-pressure system.
Temperatures are expected to be around 2-3 degrees above seasonal norms, and winds will be northerly and easterly moderate becoming stronger and stormy at times. 
Today the weather is expected to be partly cloudy with occasional showers. Temperatures will generally be around 14-19ºC inland and on the coast.
The temperature in the capital Lefkoşa will be around 18ºC.

Meanwhile the Met Office has also issued a warning of stormy weather.

The Meteorology Department announced that gale winds are expected in western Taurus between 6 am and 23:59 pm.

In the statement by the Meteorology Department, warning has been issued, with the potential for stronger winds blowing from north and east directions in Taurus to become stronger blowing from south and east directions and predictions that gusts could top 7 wind force (35mph).
