The New Legislative Year has begun

The 10th period of the second legislative year of the Republic’s Assembly started with a ceremonial meeting held today. TC leader Ersin Tatar and former TC leader Mehmet Ali Talat also attended the ceremony.
Speaker of Parliament Zorlu Töre who spoke at the opening of the general assembly wished for a prosperous new legislative year. Töre called on deputies to be more vigilant and meticulous in order to open the Parliament on time in the new term.
Töre emphasized that the Parliament should embrace the call made at the UN General Assembly by President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for the “recognition of the TRNC”.
