Regulation for conserving wetland area and biological diversity

The legal legislation intended to preserve wetlands and the biological diversity they contain is put into practise.
The State Environmental Protection Department has announced that it will be preserving the Ayluga Anakkale Pond-Tatlsu Lake, Engomi Tuzla Pond-Glapsides, Köprü Pond, Mehmetçik and Yenişehir Wetland Area.
The 34 wetland fields that will be taken under preservation is home to many birds and other species.
Flamingos (phoenicopterus roseus) can currently be observed in the pools near Haspolat Treatment.
