Polili “There are no spying charges brought against the suspect”

A court decision ruled that Greek Cypriot suspect A.S. who was accused of photographing the 1st degree military forbidden zone, be kept in custody at the Central Prison for a period of not more than 7 days until his case was heard.

The Military Court ordered that the suspect be detained at the Central Prison for a period of not more than 7 days until his case was heard.
The judge ordered the suspect to undergo a medical check-up at a full-fledged hospital before being transferred to the Central Prison.

Polili emphasized that there were no spying charges brought against the suspect.
Polili also noted that the accusation brought against the suspect of "using 2 radios without obtaining permission from the necessary authorities" will continue to be discussed at the İskele District Court.
