Police “75 kilos of cannabis drugs washed ashore have been detected in two weeks”

Police issued a statement warning the public, not to touch any kind of object, that may wash out on the shores and to immediately report it to the nearest police station.
The General Police Directorate has been following up on the case of Cannabis type drugs, which have been hitting shores in different parts of North Cyprus lately, of which the source has yet to be determined. Police have been working in coordination on the issue for quite a while.
75 kilograms of a Cannabis type drug, that hit the shores between December 18th 2022 and January 1st 2023 has been detected following an extensive search carried out by the teams affiliated with the General Directorate of Police. It is of great importance that anyone who may come across any similar objects must notify the nearest police station.
