Parliament to meet today with the audit agenda

The Republic’s Assembly will hold the second meeting of the new term today with audit on the agenda. The meeting, which will start at 10:00 am, will include speeches and questions on the agenda.

In a written question session, on the request of deputies wanting to make a speech, "The Prime Ministry’s response to a written question of the CTP Girne Deputy Ongun Talat regarding the Riot Forces Unit of two hundred persons said to have been sent from the Republic of Türkiye to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus" will be read.

The written questions converted into verbal questions include, “the written question of CTP Gazimağusa Deputy Erkut Şahali on Police Close Protection Service”, “a written question regarding CTP Lefkoşa Deputy Ürün Solyalı's Judicial Investigation reflected in the press as a 'Private Jet Permit' dated 12th June 2020 during the Covid period", “a written question of CTP Gazimağusa Deputy Asım Akansoy on Ercan Airport Tender Specifications”, “a written question of CTP Gazimağusa Deputy Asım Akansoy regarding Betting Simulation Units”.
