Met Office warns of downpours!

Director of the Meteorology Department, Ilker Edip Buran announced that downpours are forecast for today between the hours of 1 pm - 5 pm.

Responding to the TAK news agency’s questions, Buran also noted downpours of 10 kg and over are expected for every square meter, especially inland.

As for tomorrow, Buran stated that rain is expected in the eastern coastline, Gazimağusa, Salamis and Karpaz regions.

The weather is expected to be back to normal, Buran said. 50-60 per cent humidity is expected today, especially at noon, Buran noted.
