Korkmazhan banned from entering Türkiye

Secretary-General of the Left Movement Abdullah Korkmazhan was not allowed entry to Türkiye.
Korkmazhan and 4 members of the Left movement went to Ankara, Türkiye last night to meet with the Workers' Party, the Peoples' Democratic Party, the Republican People's Party and the Community Centres of Türkiye.
Although 4 of the members entered the country without any problem, Korkmazhan was prevented from entering on grounds that he acted contrary to the national security of the country.
Following an investigation at the Esenboğa Airport, Korkmazhan was deported back to North Cyprus.
Korkmazhan, on social media, said that he travelled to Ankara to meet up with the Workers' Party, the Peoples' Democratic Party, the Republican People's Party and the Community Centres of Türkiye on Monday, June 27th.
