The Foreign Ministry urged the United States and the US administration to act with common sense.
In a foreign ministry statement, it was claimed that the US intends to distance the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Türkiye from itself and is changing the already delicate balance in favour of the Greek Cypriot side and Greece.
The statement called on all parties for dialogue and cooperation to establish and maintain an atmosphere of peace on the island and in the region.
