First monkeypox case reported in South Cyprus

The Cyprus Health Ministry reported its first case of monkeypox today.
The patient detected with the virus is a 40-year-old man who recently arrived from abroad and was showing symptoms.
The patient that is being isolated for monkeypox symptoms is receiving treatment at the General Hospital in Lefkoşa.
