Series of fires extinguished

As a result of the fire that took place in the west of the Mutluyaka-Mormenekşe junction yesterday, 2 acres of dry grass, 50 acres of a stubble field, 1 rolled bale, 25-meters of irrigation hose pipe and 2 carob trees were destroyed.

Meanwhile, as a result of a fire that took place on the roadside between İnönü and Türkmenköy yesterday, 20 acres of a stubble field and 1 rolled bale also burned to ashes.

On the other hand, as a result of the fire that occurred yesterday in a construction site located on the Iskele-Karpaz main road, south of the Kurtuluş village road junction, 40 sandwich panels, 4 PVC glazed doors, 35 PVC glazed windows, 2 door frames and half an acre of dry grass was burned.

The fires were put out by fire-fighters.
