“Disaster and Emergency Assembly points” created in North Cyprus!

The Civil Defence Organization Presidency announced the emergency assembly points established in North Cyprus in a possible evacuation scenario and the rules that need to be followed in a possible event of an earthquake. “Disaster and Emergency Assembly Points” have been established for the public to reach risk-free safe areas immediately during and after disasters and emergencies. Citizens will be able to find their closest Emergency Assembly Point on the official web page of the Civil Defence Organization, www.sivilsavunma.gov.ct.tr under the title of "Emergency Assembly Points". The announcement is as follows: “The public can call the Civil Defence Hotline ALO 101 for help in possible disasters and emergencies. Announcements, information and warnings can be obtained from the authorities on radio frequencies set up to announce any disaster on (87.5-104.3) the Voice of North Cyprus Radyo Vatan, (89.8-100.4) Radyo Vatan Nihavent and (94.4-100.5) Radyo Vatan Türkü. Citizens are urged to follow the frequency announcements or warnings in the event of any possible disasters or emergencies, or to call the Civil Defence Hotline ALO 101.
