Arıklı "A surprise may happen on 20th of July"

Minister of Public Works and Transportation and Leader of the Rebirth Party Erhan Arıklı evaluated the issues on the agenda on a program on BRT.

Underlining the fact that the present government was a coalition government, Arıklı said that everyone was responsible for the work they have and have not produced adding that they are equally accountable to the public.

Minister Arıklı gave assurance that extraordinary meetings will take place in the Republics Assembly of Parliament throughout the summer months to make up for the time. “The past period was not used productively and we must make up for it” Arıklı is cited as saying.

Referring to the local elections, Arıklı said following discussions by the Ad-Hoc Committee a decision on the number of municipalities will be announced within 1-2 weeks, adding that the local elections will take place on November 27th, 2022.

Stating that work at the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation was being managed well; Arıklı said that there would be a very nice surprise on July 20th this year.
