AHDR organised workshop on Approaches to Dealing with Grief and Loss in Schools

The Association of Historical Dialogue and Research organized a workshop on "Approaches to Dealing with Grief and Loss in Schools" with the participation of educators all over Cyprus.

The workshop was took place on Friday. AHDR has shared the event on its Facebook page. The workshop was facilitated by Xenia Stylianou, Özlem Burak and Sara Clarke-Habibi. The workshop explored theoretical knowledge about the conception of grief and loss in different age groups, practical activities to implement within the classroom while tackling such issues and the significance of healing and learning from such experiences.

According to AHDR, the training was extremely helpful for educators to build their skills on navigating such discussions, especially after the recent events which have deeply affected the local community in Cyprus.
