69 year old in intensive care after fall

A man named Michael Kalmar was injured after a fall in an incident that took place yesterday on Hilarion Street in Karaman village.
According to a police statement, the 69-year-old who was under the influence of alcohol lost balance while walking and fell hitting his head on the concrete wall on the roadside.
Police report that he is being treated at the intensive care unit of the Lefkoşa Dr Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital.
An investigation into the incident is continuing.
